Welcome to ConformAI. By accessing or using our automated regulatory audit platform (including our web dashboard, multi-tenant API portal, and repository scanning integrations), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the services.

⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER (NO LEGAL ADVICE): ConformAI provides automated compliance linters, static code analysis, and risk scoring matrices based on public regulations (GDPR, EU AI Act, CSRD). The findings generated by the service do not constitute formal legal advice, legal certifications, or an attorney-client relationship. You must consult with qualified legal counsel or a registered Data Protection Officer (DPO) to certify legal compliance.

1. Services Scope & Usage

ConformAI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access our platform for local audits, codebase scanning, and operational compliance evaluations. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the configurations selected in your organization profile accurately represent your operational jurisdictions.

2. Account Security & Verification

To use our services, you must register a corporate account and provide valid registration information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. ConformAI employs industry-standard encryption for credentials, but is not responsible for data breaches resulting from compromised user-managed passwords or API keys.

3. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

Your Property: You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights over all corporate source codes, Terraform configurations, and policy texts uploaded to the ConformAI service. ConformAI claims no rights over your proprietary code.
Our Property: ConformAI retains all right, title, and interest in and to the platform, including the linter parser rule logic, dashboard layouts, custom fine-tuned weights, scoring algorithms, and UI styles.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the ConformAI platform to:

Upload or transmit any files containing malware, viruses, trojan horses, or destructive scripting codes.
Attempt to bypass security boundaries, run automated scraping tools, or reverse-engineer our scanning API endpoints.
Use the scanner results to train competing compliance models or static analysis software.

5. Service Availability & Maintenance (SLA)

ConformAI strives to maintain a 99.9% uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Periodic updates or server migrations may occur, and we will attempt to schedule maintenance windows during non-business hours (Central European Time).

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConformAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or legal penalties resulting from scan inaccuracies or compliance failures. In no event shall our total liability exceed the fees paid to ConformAI in the preceding twelve (12) months.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions shall be brought exclusively before the courts of Madrid, Spain.
